ADOPTION FEE: $475. This fee INCLUDES spay/neuter and microchip. **Ask me about our many adoption benefits that include free exams, pet insurance, training and other discounts!

ESTIMATE WEIGHT FULL GROWN: 50 lbs

KNOWN WITH DOGS: Mario demonstrated some resource guarding tendencies with other dogs. He has been able to be in playgroups at the Adoption Center although he is still a bit fearful of other dogs.

KNOWN WITH CATS: Mario was in a foster home with a cat and basically ignored the kitty.

KNOWN WITH KIDS: Mario lived with young and older children in his previous home; Previous family said they thought he did better with kids than adults

KNOWN COMMANDS: Sientate, ven aca

KNOWN HOUSEBREAKING &/OR CRATING: Mario likes to be in a crate as it is a safe space

KNOWN LIKES: Treats in his crate, people who respect his space

KNOWN DISLIKES: Hugs - Mario prefers to give kisses to his friends

ABOUT THIS ANIMAL: Mario came back to Homeward Trails after being in a home for five years when his family lost their housing. He is still adjusting to his new circumstances and needs a patient hand to help him relax back into a normal routine.
