ADOPTION COORDINATOR: Adoption Center

ADOPTION FEE: $475. This fee INCLUDES spay/neuter and microchip. **Ask me about our many adoption benefits that include free exams, pet insurance, training and other discounts!

ESTIMATE WEIGHT FULL GROWN: 35 lbs

KNOWN WITH DOGS: BJ mostly sniffs around the yard, but when he is interested in a dog, he jumps on them a lot.

KNOWN WITH CATS: We do not currently know how they are with cats. If that is needed, let us know and we'll work on getting that information!

KNOWN WITH KIDS: We are not sure how they do with kids.

KNOWN COMMANDS: None currently known.

KNOWN HOUSEBREAKING &/OR CRATING: They seem to do okay going into a crate and settling down after some time.

KNOWN LIKES: Sniffing, playing with toys, exploring, looking out windows.

KNOWN DISLIKES: None currently known.

ABOUT THIS ANIMAL: BJ came from rural Virginia where he was living outside in a dog pen. He seems to have some sight issues but is very sweet and is easy to handle. We still have a lot to learn about them and will be happy to share more as soon as we have more information!

BJ is super intelligent and enjoys long guided walks at a brisk pace + frequent stops to sniff! He is also super friendly and respectful of our small resident chihuahua. His winning and playful personality would make him a great fit even in homes with other dogs.

While BJ is good with other dogs, he is a resource guarder. Toys and treats should be given separately from other animals.
