ADOPTION COORDINATOR: Alana

ADOPTION FEE: $475. This fee INCLUDES spay/neuter and microchip. **Ask me about our many adoption benefits that include free exams, pet insurance, training and other discounts!

ESTIMATE WEIGHT FULL GROWN: 50-55 lbs.

KNOWN WITH DOGS: Joey is good with other dogs and can match several playstyles or just watch the play happen around him.

KNOWN WITH CATS: We're not sure how Joey is with cats. Let us know if you'd like us to find out!

KNOWN WITH KIDS: Joey is still a bit shy meeting new people so right now, we'd recommend older children/teens for Joey

KNOWN COMMANDS: Still gathering information on this! Stay tuned!

KNOWN HOUSEBREAKING AND/OR CRATING: Joey is not a *huge* fan of going into his crate but he does settle nicely once he goes in. He is reported to be housebroken in a foster home.

KNOWN LIKES: Cheese, sniffy walks, people that go at his pace.

KNOWN DISLIKES: People moving too fast with him, loud traffic.

ABOUT THIS ANIMAL: Sweet Joey is a bit of a shy guy right now. He is slowly opening up to staff at the adoption center and showing us his personality. He gets along great with the other dogs at the adoption center and might benefit from going to a home with a confident dog. Fun fact: Joey has a fauxhawk AND heterochromia. We're not saying he's the reincarnation of David Bowie, but we're also not NOT saying that.

Joey was neutered prior to coming to Homeward Trails.
