Enrich the life of a shelter dog (and maybe yours too)! Our Peace Out Rooms are equipped with comfy couches, chairs, rugs, TVs and desks for you to come and chill, study, nap, meditate, cuddle with a pup or just escape for an hour or two with one of our awesome dogs who can also use a little PEACE in their lives. Not only do our Peace Out Rooms give a dog a break from the chaos of shelter life and some one-on-one attention, calm dogs leave better impressions on prospective adopters and time spent with these cuties will help them find their adoptive homes quicker. And for you – well, we can all use a little PEACE and quiet sometimes. Why not share that with an adorable HT dog?

When you arrive for your scheduled visits we will set you up in on our cozy Peace Out rooms and bring you a dog to hang out with – how you spend that time is up to you – Netflix and snuggle, get some work done while your canine companion snoozes on the futon, read or sing to your new friend, give them individual play and training time, take a ton of selfies, there are so many possibilities.
